Business Portal

The Tax Office has launched a new Business Portal which will enable businesses to view their accounts online at the ATO's website, 24 hours a day 7 days per week.

According to the ATO, the Portal provides secure access to a range of information and services, allowing taxpayers to:

• lodge activity statements and view previously lodged statements
• view business account information
• view and update business registration details
• request transfers and refunds of credit amounts, and
• send and receive secure messages.

The Portal can be accessed via the ATO website (www.ato.gov.au) provided that they have registered and have a valid ABN and an ATO digital certificate.
